Team focus: memory, I/O and standard-cell circuit layouts for advanced submicron processes.
Experience Level
Mid-level β minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant layout experience (digital and memory layout experience emphasized).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include delivering quality layout work and coordinating layout activities.
- Apply and follow layout guidelines, process rules and technical requirements for standard cells, I/O and memories.
- Perform layout floor-planning and schedule management to meet project timelines.
- Create complete layout and run physical verification (LVS/DRC/ERC/antenna/electromigration) to ensure signoff readiness.
- Integrate hierarchical layouts and support chip integration tasks.
- Document layout methodology, flows and guidelines; lead technology review activities.
- Mentor or train junior engineers and provide project leadership when required.
- Adapt to new methodologies and collaborate with the library team to resolve issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of required vs. preferred items.

-
Must-have: Experience with Cadence layout (Virtuoso: XL, VXL or EXL) and Cadence schematic capture.
-
Must-have: Experience using physical verification tools such as Calibre and Hercules; familiarity with LVS, DRC, ERC, antenna and electromigration checks.
-
Must-have: Experience in digital layout (standard cells, memory, I/O) and memory layout topology.
-
Preferred / Nice-to-have: Analog layout experience.
