HW/SW Engineer

Role Summary

The HW/SW Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, updating, maintaining, documenting, and supporting IP models of standard AMBA protocols and proprietary CUP protocol for use in hardware-based verification products. The role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to address various emulation, simulation, and verification challenges.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of industry experience in hardware and software system design.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and updating IP models for AMBA and proprietary CUP protocols.
• Collaborating with customers to develop new features for the proprietary CUP protocol.
• Interfacing with internal teams and external customers, primarily Xiaomi, on verification-related problems and solutions.
• Participating in cross-verification and cross-training regarding AMBA IP.
• Utilizing lifecycle processes to ensure product quality.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• BSEE or equivalent degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Experience in RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog and familiarity with RTL verification tools.
• Debugging experience.
• Experience with team collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage tasks and workloads effectively.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Verification experience with Cadence simulation and/or emulation products.
• Knowledge of AMBA protocols, especially CHI.

Education Requirements

BSEE or equivalent degree is required.
