Develop firmware for high-speed SERDES physical IP, working across architecture, implementation, verification, and customer deployment. The role is on an IP engineering team producing PHY firmware for industry-standard serial-link protocols.

Responsibilities
Provide firmware development and support across simulation, validation, and customer deployment.
- Contribute to firmware architecture and implement assigned firmware features.
- Develop system-level prototype control software for adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms.
- Work with verification teams to debug and resolve firmware issues discovered in simulation.
- Support post-silicon testing and electrical/system characterization to identify and fix firmware and hardware interaction issues.
- Support product engineering and system validation during customer deployment and provide hot-fixes as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering, Design, System Validation) to troubleshoot field issues.
