High Speed Interface Design Team Lead
Role Summary
Lead and manage a technical team responsible for high-speed interface and transceiver design within Semidynamics’ SoC efforts. Provide architectural and implementation direction from system architecture through RTL, coordinate cross-functional work, and deliver complex projects on schedule.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Requires over 6 years in SoC design with preferably at least 2 years leading a team.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, project planning, and team development:
- Lead a technical team and provide strategic and technical direction from architecture to RTL.
- Design and foster high-speed interface solutions, including transceiver-based interfaces.
- Coordinate with other technical groups and business stakeholders to execute complex projects.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor project tasks and timelines to meet milestones.
- Mentor engineers, drive professional development, and build team engagement and accountability.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills:
- Over 6 years of SoC design experience; preferably includes ~2 years of team leadership.
- Practical experience with high-speed interfaces and transceiver-based designs.
- Strong technical background to contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Proven communication and leadership abilities; ability to motivate senior engineers.
- Experience planning and overseeing project tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Nice-to-have: PCIe experience.
