Role Summary
As a Product Development Engineer on the Media Health team, you will coordinate across design, test, and product engineering to develop and validate test strategies, features, and technologies for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) devices. You will support test development, debug, data analysis, and yield improvement to ensure device performance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include test strategy development, debugging, and cross-discipline collaboration to validate and improve HBM products and manufacturing yields.
- Perform pre-silicon simulations with Design Engineering to validate test strategies and circuits for test.
- Support pre-silicon checklist tasks and identify required tester resources with Test Engineering.
- Adapt test programs with Test and Product Engineering to ensure silicon meets performance expectations.
- Support test program debug, data analysis, and test development; use AI assistants to accelerate analysis.
- Develop tests for fabrication sites and process integration to improve process feedback and manufacturability.
- Debug failures and perform root-cause analysis using test data, electrical and physical analysis results.
- Monitor yields, investigate deviations, and implement test strategy changes to improve product quality and yield.
- Provide technical training and act as a product-specific point of contact for engineering teams.
- Build AI-powered tools to automate processes and optimize test strategies and features.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience; preferred items listed after.
- Proven experience in a product engineering role for memory or ASIC devices.
- Experience with digital circuit concepts and ASIC testing using scan tools.
- Proficiency in Python and C; experience with Linux environments.
- Custom BIST/APG programming experience for memory testing and familiarity with probe and/or ATE test code and techniques.
- Hands-on bench testing experience and ability to debug test programs and analyze results.
- Ability to use electrical and physical analysis to identify root causes and drive yield improvements.
- Experience automating test data workflows and comfortable using or integrating AI tools into test processes.
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- High-volume production data extraction and analysis experience (JMP and/or Python).
- Experience creating tests to support fabrication sites and process integration.
- Circuit simulation experience (SPICE) and Verilog familiarity.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent hands-on experience is explicitly acceptable.
