Job Title

Graphics Software Engineer

Role Summary

Join an Agile driver development team responsible for tooling that supports the full GPU lifecycle — from early hardware design and performance modelling to verification and driver bring-up for Mali™ products.

The role owns and evolves scalable software systems at the intersection of GPU hardware, drivers, performance analysis and real-time dataflow, working closely with software, hardware and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable tooling that enables GPU driver development and hardware bring-up.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, decompose complex problems, and evaluate trade-offs across teams.
  • Review designs and code; coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality integration.
  • Understand system-level requirements and contribute technical insight to roadmap planning.
  • Collaborate across software and hardware teams to deliver practical, high-performance solutions.

Requirements

Must-have and desirable skills:

  • Must-have: Proven experience on complex software projects, ideally systems or embedded development.
  • Must-have: Strong C/C++ programming skills and solid software engineering practices.
  • Must-have: Strong problem-solving, debugging and performance profiling abilities.
  • Must-have: Effective communication and collaboration across organisational boundaries.
  • Nice-to-have: Python or scripting for automation and tooling glue code.
  • Nice-to-have: Understanding of computer architecture, embedded/SoC systems and the GPU graphics pipeline.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Linux kernel / user-space interfaces and debugging tools (perf, tracepoints, etc.).
