Graduate Talent (ISCP SoC Front End Team)
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role on the SoC Front End team contributing to the design, development, integration, and verification of Intel proprietary System-on-Chip (SoC) IP. Work involves hands-on RTL design and verification, simulation, testplan development, debugging, and scripting to support pre-silicon validation and IP integration.
The role is in the SPE ISCP SFD Domain team in Penang and is eligible for a hybrid work model (split between on-site and off-site work).
Experience Level
Entry-level - targeted at recent graduates. Suitable for candidates with approximately 0–3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and verify SoC IP using RTL languages.
- Implement and run simulations, test plans, and coverage analysis to validate functionality.
- Integrate IP into broader SoC architectures and collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability.
- Debug pre-silicon issues and contribute to technical readiness activities.
- Create and maintain design and test documentation.
- Develop scripts and small tools (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell) to automate verification and development workflows.
- Suggest and implement process improvements in SoC development methodologies.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and knowledge:
- Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of digital design principles, simulation, and verification methodologies.
- Experience with programming or scripting (Python, Perl, or Shell).
- Familiarity with EDA tools (for example, ModelSim, Synopsys VCS) and standard industry protocols.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning and working in a fast-paced hardware development environment.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
