Graduate Talent (IP Design Verification Engineer)
Role Summary
Design and verify mixed-signal and digital IPs for Intel client products, focusing on functionality, performance and integration into larger system architectures. Work within the Silicon and Platform Engineering Group to develop verification strategies, execute simulations, debug IP issues, and improve IP development processes.
This is a graduate/entry-level engineering role with an on-site presence in Penang/Kulim, Malaysia.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include supporting IP design, verification, and integration activities.
- Assist in the design, development, and verification of mixed-signal IPs, including proprietary Intel IPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IPs into broader system architectures.
- Develop and execute simulations to validate IP functionality and performance versus design requirements.
- Support debugging and resolution of IP-related issues to meet production timelines.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as design specifications and test plans.
- Implement and improve IP development processes and methodologies.
Requirements
Minimum required technical skills and tools:
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog.
- Familiarity with digital design principles and verification methodologies.
- Experience with simulation and verification tools (for example, ModelSim or Synopsys VCS).
- Competency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Ability to debug IP issues and support verification activities.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
