Graduate Equipment Maintenance Engineer – Test
Role Summary
Responsible for setting up, maintaining and optimizing automated test equipment (ATE) to support production and quality targets in semiconductor test operations. Works within the Manufacturing team in Bayan Lepas to reduce tester downtime, support NPI, and drive yield improvements through failure analysis and equipment calibration.

Responsibilities
Primary duties focus on ensuring reliable ATE operations and supporting product introductions and yield improvement.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ATE systems (hardware and software).
- Support production to minimize tester downtime and improve uptime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
- Analyze failures and test data to drive yield improvements.
- Support NPI activities and tester bring-up for new products.
- Manage spare parts, upgrades, and equipment lifecycle.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for day-to-day work; listed advantages are desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on production equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and calibration practices.
- Analytical mindset with basic data-analysis capability to investigate failures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional production support.
- Nice-to-have: experience in semiconductor backend (final test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
