Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level verification engineer joining an analog/mixed-signal design verification team to validate device- and system-level behavior. The role focuses on building behavioral models, testbenches, and simulation flows to ensure designs meet specifications across operating and corner conditions.

Work will involve close collaboration with design and verification engineers to develop verification plans, run regressions, and debug mixed-signal issues. Infineon supports a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new graduate). Candidates should be expected to graduate Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027 and be available to start in January 2027 or Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focused on mixed-signal verification activities and automation.

• Develop verification plans aligned to device specifications and requirements.
• Create and maintain Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and mixed-signal behavioral models.
• Develop testbenches, simulation environments, and regression flows for mixed-signal verification.
• Execute mixed-signal simulations to validate device- and system-level behavior across operating points.
• Perform corner and stress analysis to ensure robustness and performance compliance.
• Implement fault-injection and edge-case scenarios to validate error handling.
• Run, debug, and maintain regression suites using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, vManager, ADE Explorer/Assembler, Spectre, and Xcelium.

Requirements

Key must-have skills and preferred skills for the role.

• Must-have: Practical experience or coursework in analog and mixed-signal verification concepts, testbench creation, and debug practices.
• Must-have: Experience with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog for mixed-signal modeling.
• Must-have: Good understanding of analog design techniques and circuit behavior.
• Must-have: Authorization requirement: U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card) due to export-controlled documentation access.
• Must-have: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to Cadence tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE Explorer/Assembler, vManager) and Xcelium.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with mixed-signal netlisting and hierarchy configuration flows.
• Nice-to-have: Scripting experience for automation and data analysis (Python, TCL, MATLAB).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; expected graduation Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027. Hiring for start dates in January 2027 or Summer 2027.
