Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level position on an analog/mixed-signal design team responsible for schematic design, simulation, verification and silicon bring-up of mixed-signal IP. The role requires collaboration with verification, physical design and test teams to deliver validated circuits for production.

This role is intended for recent graduates and focuses on practical circuit design, simulation, debugging and lab characterization.

Experience Level

Entry-level — recent graduate (graduated within the last year).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, verification, and lab support for analog and mixed-signal building blocks.

  • Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Run simulations for analog/mixed-signal blocks such as precision and low-power analog and I/O circuits.
  • Collaborate on design verification and optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit issues; support silicon bring-up and bench evaluation.
  • Work with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements and perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation and validation results in technical reviews.
  • Coordinate with lab technicians for measurements and characterization.

Requirements

What you must be able to do on day one and strong technical skills the team expects.

Must-have

  • Hands-on experience in design and simulation of data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Solid foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation and debugging.
  • Ability to document designs clearly and communicate results in technical reviews.
  • Ability to support lab bring-up and coordinate measurements with technicians.

Nice-to-have

  • Power Management IC design experience.
  • Experience using AI tools for design and verification.
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.

Education Requirements

Graduated within the last year with a Master’s or PhD preferred in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance. (Degree requirement: Master’s or PhD preferred; recent-graduate status expected.)
