Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and verify analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, working with cross-functional teams from schematic and simulation through layout verification, silicon bring-up, and characterization. The role supports development of precision, low-power analog and I/O building blocks and clock/data-conversion IP.

Experience Level

Entry-level — recent graduate. The role targets candidates beginning their professional career (recent Master's or PhD graduates).

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Design and simulate analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as precision and low-power analog and I/O circuits.
  • Collaborate on design verification and optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuits and support post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
  • Work with physical design teams to address layout-critical requirements.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and device characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews.

Requirements

Must-have skills and preferred knowledge:

  • Must-have: Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, verification and debugging.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and present results in reviews.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Power Management IC design experience; experience using AI tools for design and verification; prior involvement in silicon bring-up and bench characterization.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance; candidates who graduated within the last year are targeted. No explicit equivalent-experience language provided.
