Role Summary
The role involves working as a member of the Graphics Post-silicon team to validate and commercialize next-generation GPU chips. Responsibilities include power analysis, voltage margin optimizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level; 3+ years of experience in system-level Validation.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting power analysis and voltage margin optimization for GPU cores.
- Characterizing and tuning system-level power management solutions.
- Involvement in chip bring-up and debug on emulation platforms.
- Programming device drivers in C.
- Debugging low-level software and hardware issues.
- Using Python for data analysis and test automation.
- Validating and debugging mixed-signal IP.
- Measuring power, performance, and thermal behaviors on silicon.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system validation engineering.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with scripting in Perl/Python.
- Knowledge of power consumption concepts and GPU architecture.
- Experience with lab equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Nice-to-have qualifications include:
- Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP and DFT/DFD.
- Experience with Lauterbach Trace32 debug platform.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required.
