Role Summary
Design and implement front-end ASIC RTL for IP blocks and functional units intended for integration into system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Work within a hardware design team to define microarchitecture, produce RTL, verify functionality, and ensure the block meets power, performance, area, and timing goals.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include RTL development, verification support, and preparing IP for SoC integration.
- Develop logic design, write RTL (HDL) code, and perform RTL simulation for IP blocks and functional units.
- Participate in defining architecture and microarchitecture of the block being designed.
- Optimize RTL and logic to meet power, performance, area, and timing requirements and to ensure physical implementation integrity.
- Review verification plans and work with verification teams to resolve failing RTL tests and correctness issues.
- Support SoC customers and integration teams to ensure high-quality integration and verification of the IP block.
- Drive quality-assurance activities to enable smooth IP-to-SoC handoff.
Requirements

- Proficiency in RTL coding using HDL languages and familiarity with logic simulation and debug environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem solving, investigation, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Spyglass, synthesis flows, static timing analysis (e.g., PrimeTime), UPF (power intent), UVM, SPICE, and DFT methodologies.
- Experience supporting integration and verification of IP blocks in SoC contexts.
- Nice-to-have: scripting skills for automation and tool flow integration.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics Engineering (BS/MS/PhD in Electronics Engineering) as specified in the posting.
