Role Summary

The FPGA Design Applications Engineer will join the North American Factory Applications Team. This role focuses on Quartus Software tools and system solutions, enhancing customer experience through new technologies and effective support.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing product requirements to design a superior customer journey.
  • Creating technical documentation such as user guides and demos to aid users in product design.
  • Performing product evaluations and providing feedback on usability.
  • Defining example designs and conducting tests for feature releases.
  • Addressing customer technical queries, debugging issues, and collaborating with engineering for resolutions.

Requirements

Must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of applications engineering or system design experience.
  • Proficient in FPGA Design Software tools and debugging FPGAs.
  • Experience in RTL design (Verilog, VHDL or SystemVerilog) and working with FPGA development boards.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Power and Thermal Analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with TCL and Python.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
