Formal Verification Internship
Role Summary
12-month in-office internship on the Formal Verification (FV) team in Bengaluru. The intern will learn formal verification methodologies and apply them to live validation projects under the guidance of experienced FV engineers.
Work is full-time, starts Oct/Nov 2026, and focuses on validation, verification tool quality improvements, and collaboration within an engineering team.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Candidates currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate technical degrees and graduating in 2027 are preferred.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities while on the internship:
- Learn and apply formal verification methodologies on real projects.
- Execute validation and verification tasks according to defined plans alongside FV engineers.
- Contribute findings and suggestions to improve verification tools and processes.
- Document test results and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for successful candidates:
- Strong academic foundation demonstrated via relevant coursework, projects, or prior internships in semiconductor design.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and digital design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting within Unix/Linux environments (Python, Perl, Tcl).
- Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to Formal Verification flows, Verilog/SystemVerilog design, or SystemVerilog Assertions.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related technical fields. Candidates graduating in 2027 are preferred.
