Formal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Member of NVIDIA's Hardware Engineering team responsible for proving correctness of IP blocks and SoC components using formal verification methods. Collaborate with design and verification engineers across GPU and SoC product lines to meet verification goals.
Work location: India (Gurugram or Bengaluru). Hybrid work model.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Early career) - 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Apply formal verification methods to prove correctness of design blocks, IPs, and SoC components.
- Prepare and execute formal verification test plans.
- Experiment with and tune formal tools and flows to improve performance and result quality.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to achieve verification milestones.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills:
- Experience with formal verification methods and associated tools/flows.
- Strong coding or scripting skills (examples: C, Python, Perl, Tcl).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex hardware verification challenges.
- Effective verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with SoC or IP verification environments and performance tuning of formal flows.
Education Requirements
B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; posting specifies 2+ years of relevant experience.
