Role Summary
Join Arm's Solutions Group to develop and deploy formal verification techniques for next-generation processor and digital-system designs. The role focuses on shaping verification strategy and performing hands-on formal verification on complex projects in close collaboration with domain experts.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include developing and deploying formal verification methods and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Develop and apply formal verification techniques to next-generation designs.
- Create and implement formal verification strategies and methodologies.
- Translate abstract formal concepts into practical verification solutions and proofs.
- Work closely with design teams and domain experts to influence verification and design decisions.
- Diagnose verification failures; refine models, invariants and abstractions.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Strong engineering mindset with excellent attention to detail and reasoning skills.
- Solid understanding of verification principles, computer architecture and microarchitectural design.
- Ability to translate formal concepts into effective, practical verification solutions.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with industry-standard formal verification tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl or Shell.
- Familiarity with the Arm architecture and AMBA protocols.
- Knowledge of advanced model-checking techniques, assume-guarantee reasoning, invariants and abstractions.
