Role Summary
Senior applications engineer responsible for providing technical support and solutions for customers using Lattice Semiconductor products. Works with customers, sales, and product teams to resolve system-level issues, enable designs, and demonstrate product capabilities.

Senior — typically requires several years of relevant applications or design experience (commonly 5+ years).
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include customer engagement, technical problem solving, and cross-team collaboration.
- Provide technical support to customers for product selection, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Lead application projects and demos, including board bring-up and proof-of-concept development.
- Analyze customer designs, reproduce issues, and propose hardware/software solutions.
- Create technical collateral: application notes, reference designs, and example code.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to communicate customer requirements and bugs.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments and validation.
Requirements

Must-have: Proven experience supporting customers in embedded systems, FPGA, CPLD, or semiconductor-based designs; strong debugging and system-level troubleshooting skills; excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
