Role Summary
The Field Application Engineer for Tessent Design for Test (DFT) collaborates with the sales and technical teams to provide engineering support that facilitates successful sales campaigns. The position involves driving product adoption and developing customer methodologies.
Experience Level
Senior; 8 to 12 years of experience is required in relevant fields such as Applications Engineering or ASIC Design Engineering.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Driving product adoption in customer projects by creating methodologies and integration flows.
- Building strong relationships with customers to assess their technical and business needs.
- Identifying and strategizing new business opportunities with the sales team.
- Sharing valuable information regarding accounts and competing technologies with relevant stakeholders.
- Providing technical leadership for assigned accounts.
- Performing additional tasks as required by management.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- BSEE or BSCS is required; MSEE is preferred.
- Experience in digital design and RTL coding with Verilog or VHDL.
- Proven history of Design for Test in ASIC design.
- Familiarity with TCL programming and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Siemens Tessent DFT products is advantageous.
- Skills in simulation, verification, and project management are beneficial.
- Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and understand company policies.
Education Requirements
BSEE or BSCS is required; MSEE is desired.
