Experienced Hardware DevOps Engineer
Role Summary
Work on automation and infrastructure that supports Arm's ML and neural‑network hardware IP. The role focuses on improving hardware design and verification workflows through CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure‑as‑code, and cloud compute/data management.
Position can be based in Lund, Sweden or Cambridge, United Kingdom; the team operates with a hybrid working approach.

Responsibilities
Deliver and maintain automation and infrastructure that accelerates hardware design and verification at scale.
- Design and implement automation for hardware design and verification workflows (CI/CD, orchestration, pipelines).
- Build and maintain containerized environments and tooling for engineering teams.
- Implement and operate infrastructure‑as‑code for on‑prem and cloud resources.
- Integrate and manage cloud compute and distributed data systems for verification workloads.
- Develop, test and maintain scripts and tools to improve developer productivity and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, verification teams, and global DevOps peers to define best practices.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for engineering environments and tooling.
- Estimate efforts, plan deliverables, and drive projects to completion with a strong delivery focus.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and Gerrit.
- Experience with container tooling (Docker) and artifact management (Artifactory).
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (examples: Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl, Groovy) and writing maintainable automation code.
- Proven track record delivering automation and engineering environments at scale.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience supporting multiple engineering teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of digital hardware and hardware description languages (HDL).
- Experience with RTL simulation and verification flows.
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI fundamentals.
