Job Title
Experienced Hardware Design Engineer - Solutions Engineering
Role Summary
Join the Solutions Engineering team to design and verify hardware subsystems for multiple application segments. Work across architecture, RTL design, and verification to deliver robust subsystem IP and support product integration.
Experience Level
Mid-level / Experienced Professional. Specific years of experience not stated.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on subsystem design and verification, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering implementation-ready hardware components.
- Design and develop digital subsystems and interfaces at RTL level.
- Create and execute verification plans, testbenches, and simulations.
- Collaborate with architects, software, verification, and physical design teams to meet functional and timing targets.
- Debug integration issues across IP blocks and system-level flows.
- Prepare design documentation, specifications, and review packages.
- Support FPGA prototyping and bring-up where applicable.
- Engage with internal teams and partners to steer solutions for target applications.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience to perform the role; nice-to-have items listed separately.
-
Must-have: Practical experience in digital hardware/SoC design and verification (RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog or equivalent).
-
Must-have: Experience developing and running verification environments and simulations (knowledge of UVM or similar encouraged).
-
Must-have: Scripting ability for automation and verification (e.g., Python, Tcl).
-
Must-have: Strong debugging skills and experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with FPGA prototyping, synthesis, timing closure, or physical-design handoff.
-
Nice-to-have: Prior exposure to ARM ecosystem IP, low-power design techniques, or subsystem-level integration.
