Experienced Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Experienced Design Verification Engineer will join the WiFi hardware team to define, develop, and debug verification environments for TI’s wireless MCU products. This role focuses on both low and system-level module compliance with architecture and protocols while mentoring junior team members.

Experience Level

Mid-level; 3+ years of hands-on work experience in developing verification environments is required.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Define and develop verification environments for wireless MCU products.
  • Debug low-level and system-level modules.
  • Ensure compliance with architecture and protocol specifications.
  • Collaborate with software, architecture, algorithm, and design teams.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing verification environments.
  • Experience with major verification methodologies and languages (e.g., System Verilog/UVM, Specman).
  • Expertise in coverage-driven verification and constrained random testing.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Team collaboration skills in local and global teams.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with WiFi/BLE protocols, SOC experience, writing C-code for embedded processors (ARM or RISC-V), and moderate experience with AI tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or equivalent.
