Executive Director of Established Nodes Product Strategies
Role Summary
Lead and build a product management and PDK development capability focused on established process nodes, 3D integration and chiplet architectures. The role coordinates across product management, R&D, sales and external ecosystem partners to ensure validated flows and prioritized PDKs for mature nodes.
Primary mission: define product strategy, establish AI-driven PDK development and validation processes, and position the company as the strategic partner in the established-node market.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include building the organization, defining product and PDK priorities, and engaging with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver validated tool flows for established nodes.
- Build and lead a team of technical product managers and PDK engineers focused on established process node strategies.
- Define product requirements, technical collateral, and validated flows to enable 3D and chiplet architectures on mature nodes.
- Establish a PDK development and validation function leveraging AI-driven automation to scale derivative PDK production.
- Align PDKs, tech files, and tool flows across product lines, ecosystem partners, sales and R&D to eliminate workflow gaps.
- Cultivate and manage executive-level relationships with foundries, fabless companies, and IP providers.
- Negotiate and influence cross-functional initiatives to ensure established-node priorities are reflected in product roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
- Represent the company at industry forums, customer engagements and technical conferences.
- Provide executive-level guidance to influence foundry and fabless technology roadmaps and customer adoption strategies.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- Extensive track record in semiconductor or EDA product management with demonstrated foundry and ecosystem engagement.
- Established credibility and executive relationships within the established-node ecosystem (foundries, fabless, IP providers).
- Proven experience building and scaling technical product management organizations supporting global portfolios.
- Experience negotiating complex partnerships and driving alignment across engineering, sales and executive leadership without direct reporting authority.
- Ability to operate strategically at the organizational level while engaging tactically on specific technical or customer issues when required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience preparing executive-level presentations.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Device Physics required; PhD strongly preferred.
