Job Title

EV Lab Student

Role Summary

The EV Lab Student will support Intel Validation Engineering (iVE) lab activities, assisting validation and test teams with engineering trials, test procedures and lab systems. Work includes operating and integrating test equipment, computers and automation robots and participating in development, troubleshooting and maintenance of test systems.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Student intern. This role is intended for students currently enrolled in an engineering degree program; no prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical duties in the lab team include hands-on testing, system support and participation in engineering validation tasks.

  • Assist validation and test engineers with engineering trials and test procedures.
  • Operate, integrate and maintain lab equipment, test systems, computers and automation robots.
  • Perform system troubleshooting and routine maintenance of complex procedures and setups.
  • Support development and operation of test automation and data-collection workflows.
  • Work collaboratively within the lab team to meet testing schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Ability to work on-site in Haifa at least 3.5 days per week (Shift 1, Israel).
  • Must-have: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity operating lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
  • Nice-to-have: Previous experience as a lab technician or practical engineering experience.

Education Requirements

Students currently pursuing a first degree (Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and holding a Practical Engineering diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer are preferred. Candidates should have at least two years remaining until graduation. (Equivalent practical experience not specified.)
