Job Title

Ethernet Customer Program Manager

Role Summary

Manage technical programs for Ethernet-related engineering initiatives within Intel's Central Engineering Group (CEG). Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams (design, validation, manufacturing, software, and process) to deliver products, manufacturing systems, and technology platform improvements.

This role requires on-site presence. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 5+ years of program and project management experience in the high‑tech industry.

Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities include program delivery, technical issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting.

  • Investigate technical roadblocks and drive resolution across engineering initiatives.
  • Manage complex projects tied to manufacturing systems, hardware products, software programs, and technology platforms.
  • Lead executive and department-level reviews; report program health, risks, and financials.
  • Manage teams to achieve program-level milestones and prioritize deliverables.
  • Drive requirements scoping, analysis, prioritization, and planning across multiple product teams and interdependencies.
  • Use customer gap and usage knowledge to guide teams toward high-ROI deliverables.
  • Advise and mentor project and program management teams to improve PM competencies.
  • Innovate processes and procedures to improve engineering program execution.
  • Oversee projects involving design, development, architecture, validation, manufacturing, and processes.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

  • 5+ years of program and project management experience in the high‑tech industry.
  • Experience working directly with large, business-critical partners across multiple geographies.
  • Experience interfacing with multi-level employees, management, and customers.

Nice-to-have:

  • PMP certification.
  • Familiarity with program life cycle concepts and software methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • In-depth knowledge of Ethernet deliverables and implementations.
  • Working knowledge of various operating systems.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. PMP certification is listed as preferred. The posting does not specify an explicit "equivalent experience" alternative to the degree.
