Entry Level Digital Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineer responsible for executing and documenting digital validation tests for semiconductor products at the Austin Oakhill office. Works under guidance of the validation team to set up tests, collect and analyze results, and support debugging and issue resolution across design, system, and software teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level — recent graduates (Bachelor's or Master's) within the last two years or those graduating soon.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on validation and support activities to verify digital designs and ensure product quality.
- Prepare validation setups, execute tests, collect and analyze data, and summarize results.
- Assist in debugging issues and improving test coverage under team guidance.
- Collaborate with design, systems, and software teams to clarify expected behavior and resolve issues.
- Maintain validation plans, test reports, and technical records for project visibility.
- Contribute to disciplined test execution and team technical learning.
Requirements
Must-have technical foundation, practical experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on familiarity with lab equipment, verification, programming, or design tools; willingness to learn quickly.
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly in English.
- Practical experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
Education Requirements
Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline; degree completion within the past two years is preferred.
