Role Summary

Lead complex, cross-functional semiconductor New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from product definition through design, tape-out, qualification, and production release. Work with global engineering, product, quality, operations, and manufacturing teams to align scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and business objectives.

Experience Level

Senior-level role. Typically requires 8 or more years of relevant technical project or program management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage NPI projects and coordinate global teams to deliver on schedule, cost, and quality targets.

• Lead semiconductor NPI projects through the full product development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, budgets, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, quality, test, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Define and drive alignment on project scope, requirements, priorities, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Monitor execution and proactively manage schedule, resource, technical, quality, and cost risks.
• Lead project reviews and provide clear status, impact assessments, recommendations, and escalations to management.
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority to secure commitments and resolve conflicts.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• 8+ years of relevant experience in technical project or program management.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional product development or NPI projects.
• Good understanding of the semiconductor development lifecycle, including IC design, verification, tape-out, qualification, and product release.
• Strong project planning, risk management, financial management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills within a global matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or Agile are preferred.
