Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead development and integration of CPU processor models used in virtual prototypes and design verification.
• Manage, support and grow a team of engineers; provide coaching and mentorship.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, design and development decisions.
• Contribute directly to the codebase and perform hands-on problem solving.
• Work with internal teams and external customers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Promote software engineering best practices and maintain code quality.

Requirements

Must-have and nice-to-have skills:

• Must-have: Advanced C/C++ coding skills.
• Must-have: Experience with CPU architecture and at least one major instruction set (Arm, RISC-V).
• Must-have: Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Must-have: Practical knowledge of low-level embedded software and SoC concepts.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with high-performance modelling (Dynamic Binary Translation, JIT code generation).
• Experience with SystemC and transaction-level modelling (TLM).

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, or a closely related field.
