Job Title

Engineering IP Program Manager, Sr. Staff

Role Summary

Manage program delivery of SoC IP from conception through mass production release for Marvell product and custom product lines. The role coordinates cross-functional engineering teams and ensures IP meets product requirements, schedule, and quality targets.

Experience Level

Senior level. Candidates should have substantial program management experience in semiconductor IP or SoC projects; the posting indicates typical experience ranges tied to education (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate IP development programs, driving closure of specifications and timely delivery.

  • Overall program management of IP development and delivery to product business units.
  • Drive closure of IP specs and requirements and track completion against milestones.
  • Chair weekly cross-functional meetings; provide regular status updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Matrixed leadership of engineering program managers distributed across the organization.
  • Execute risk management, lessons learned, and enforce agreed processes.
  • Own the successful outcome of IP development, integration, and production release.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership skills required to manage IP programs (degrees summarized separately under Education Requirements).

  • Proven program management experience on IP, SoC, or ASIC development projects.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of SoC/IC design flows, advanced process technologies, and silicon development methodologies.
  • Broad background in ASIC or microelectronics development and familiarity with analog, logic, DFT, layout, timing, validation, and PnR interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with technical managers and drive projects to completion.
  • Nice-to-have: experience as a mixed-signal designer.
  • Nice-to-have: 4+ years as an Engineering Project Manager in the semiconductor industry (preferred).

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering is listed; MSEE is preferred. The posting specifies: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5–8 years of related professional experience, OR a Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 3–6 years of experience. Equivalent technical experience in semiconductor/ASIC/SoC development may be considered per the posted criteria.

Compensation

Expected base pay range (USD): 132,610 - 198,600 per annum.
