Engineering Automation Intern
Role Summary
The intern will join the Engineering Automation team to develop and enhance internal tools that apply AI and intelligent automation to engineering workflows. The role focuses on building AI-driven QA solutions, integrating engineering assistants, and improving automation for IC design tooling.
Work is collaborative and hands-on, aimed at improving engineering efficiency and tool quality.
Experience Level
Internship / Entry-level (student internship; no specific years of professional experience required).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Build AI-based automated QA solutions for internal engineering tools.
- Integrate AI agents and engineering assistants into internal tooling.
- Develop automation and scripts to solve practical engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with global team members to understand needs and deliver solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience with AI workflows and internal tool development.
Requirements

- Background or foundational knowledge in IC design.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting.
- Proficiency in programming, particularly Python or similar languages.
- Familiarity with AI workflows and core concepts.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a global team; good written and verbal English.
