Engineer Student Intern

Role Summary

Hands-on internship supporting operation and maintenance of automated test handlers in semiconductor production. The intern will work with technicians and engineers at Analog Devices GTC Cavite on equipment setup, conversion, calibration, minor troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Entry-level (Internship). Student or early-career position; no prior years-of-experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include assisting technicians and engineers with day-to-day production equipment tasks:

  • Assist in setting up and converting test handler equipment.
  • Learn to clear minor equipment jams and support basic troubleshooting.
  • Clean and align small parts (contact and plunger assemblies).
  • Support preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by mentors while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes:

  • Basic knowledge of electronics.
  • Willingness to learn equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to follow company safety and quality procedures.
