Engineer, STPG PE System
Role Summary
This role is a product engineering position focused on SSD product bring-up, supporting high-volume manufacturing (HVM), and resolving SSD-related quality and reliability issues.
The engineer will work within the Product Engineering (PE) organization and collaborate with global teams and cross-functional partners to validate, qualify, and improve SSD products.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting product launch and sustaining HVM, diagnosing failures, and driving corrective actions across functions.
- Lead product bring-up and support for high-volume SSD manufacturing.
- Perform electrical and physical failure analysis; collaborate with other departments to resolve SSD issues.
- Analyze yield and failure data to identify and implement improvements.
- Troubleshoot customer returns and develop remediation plans.
- Develop test flows, validation plans, and qualification activities for multiple customers.
- Coordinate and drive cross-functional taskforces to resolve qualification gating issues.
Requirements
Required skills and qualifications and desirable experience.
- Must-have: Good understanding of SSD device operation, interfaces, and product development; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; effective communication and presentation skills; self-motivated with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in the SSD industry; experience with computer hardware and storage interfaces such as PCIe, SATA, or SAS; familiarity with NAND and SSD product development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering (fields of study listed explicitly in the posting).
