Engineer NAND CMOS PI

Role Summary

Set direction for CMOS technology on the company's NAND memory roadmap. Collaborate with design, process integration, TCAD, transistor modeling, reliability, and manufacturing teams to define electrical targets and transistor structures and ensure technologies are manufacturable and high-yield.

Lead device technology development, define and analyze silicon experiments, deliver transistor models and design-rule guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

• Define electrical targets and transistor structures to meet NAND roadmap requirements.
• Guide device technology development and align device roadmap with product roadmaps.
• Ensure manufacturability and yield are designed into the technology from project start.
• Define, execute, and analyze silicon experiments for future device generations.
• Provide transistor models, collaborate with TCAD, and optimize layout-constrained design rules.
• Define electrical test structures for transistors, isolation, design-rule verification, and process monitoring.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to debug yield and reliability issues and ensure required reliability standards are met.
• Mentor and coach less-experienced colleagues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• CMOS device design, simulation, and electrical characterization.
• Experience developing advanced logic transistor technologies.
• Experience with analog FETs operating at higher voltages and analog design concepts.
• Design-Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO) experience.
• Electrical characterization and PDK/VDL development experience.

Education Requirements

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
