Collaborate with local and international design, fab, and product engineering teams (France and US) to drive device performance, yield improvement and validation for BCD MOS technologies.
Experience Level
Mid-level (Engineer II). The role involves independent technical work and cross-location coordination. New College Grade positions are designated for candidates with less than 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include device characterization, process optimization, and support of technology projects.
- Collaborate with Design, Fab and Product Engineering to improve yield, optimize circuits, and enhance device performance for BCD MOS technology.
- Analyze electrical characterization data from DOEs and corner lots to support optimization and validation.
- Support device characterization activities, bench measurements, data analysis and TCAD simulations.
- Define and draw test key structures to evaluate layout-driven optimizations.
- Plan and run design/layout and process experiments to optimize semiconductor device performance.
- Troubleshoot and isolate technical issues with devices and processes; work with failure analysis on field failures and customer returns.
- Prepare and present data, results and conclusions in technical team meetings.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, tools, and work habits.
- Strong knowledge of microelectronics, wafer fabrication, device physics, and TCAD simulations (experience with Sentaurus preferred).
- Familiarity with Unix environments and Cadence tools.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
