Engineer I, Manufacturing Test Engineering

Role Summary

Work on the manufacturing test team in Chon Buri to support production testing, product transfer to mass production, and yield improvement. The role focuses on ATE debug, hardware sustainment, and process support to meet production throughput and quality targets.

Reports to manufacturing/test engineering leads and works closely with technicians and business units.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting production test and sustaining activities:

  • Support and manage daily production line testing activities to ensure smooth operation and meet throughput targets.
  • Perform product transfer and support release to mass production.
  • Manage hardware sustainment: repair, firmware revisions, preventive maintenance, and sustaining engineering tasks.
  • Debug and troubleshoot Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and test systems to resolve production issues.
  • Investigate root causes of QA failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive yield improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business units to analyze low-yield issues and implement product improvement solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in completing their tasks.
