Engineer, GQ Ops - Reliability Process
Role Summary
Responsible for managing and improving package reliability and qualification processes at the MSB Singapore site. The role leads end-to-end reliability stress testing and package qualification activities, maintains process documentation, and coordinates cross-functional enablement and equipment qualifications.

Responsibilities
Manage and execute reliability and package qualification activities, maintain process control, and drive process improvements.
- Own end-to-end management of reliability stress tests and package qualification (e.g., thermal cycling, HAST, HTS, CSAM).
- Maintain and improve the process of record (POR) for assigned reliability tests; ensure adherence to SOPs and quality management systems.
- Lead qualification and process buyoff for new equipment or layout changes; coordinate enablement with Facilities and GEL.
- Define process windows, control plans, and reaction mechanisms to prevent excursions and maintain product integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput (TAT) and process stability.
- Collaborate with Quality, NPI, Product Engineering, and Equipment Engineering to support qualification and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, audit requirements, and EHS guidelines in lab operations.
- Analyze process-performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions using statistical and AI-assisted techniques.
- Integrate AI-enabled solutions (e.g., generative AI, Copilot/LLMs, automation) with lab systems (Power BI, SharePoint, workflows) to automate reporting and approvals.
Requirements
Required skills and abilities for performing the role effectively.
- Understanding of semiconductor backend and reliability lab processes.
- Familiarity with reliability tests and device reliability methods (thermal/humidity stress, temperature cycling, reflow; HTOL, ELFR, HNBTI, etc.).
- Familiarity with quality systems, process control, and audit requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and AI-assisted analytics or automation.
- Ability to lead equipment qualification and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
