Role Summary

Work within Micron's SSD Product Validation organization to define and execute firmware and product-level validation for datacenter SSDs. Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and product teams to turn requirements into scalable validation coverage.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on building and executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve firmware issues.

  • Design and implement known, grey-box, and closed-system validation tests for SSD firmware targeting datacenter applications.
  • Translate product requirements into effective and scalable validation coverage with firmware, hardware, and product teams.
  • Create, execute, and analyze test plans to verify functionality, quality, and reliability across the SSD lifecycle.
  • Use C, Python, and automation frameworks to accelerate bug discovery, support debug and root-cause analysis, and improve validation methodologies.
  • Adopt AI-supported development and validation tools to speed test creation and improve efficiency.
