Engineer eNVM Device Data Analysis
Role Summary
Develop and maintain data-analysis tools and reports for wafer test data, analyze electrical characterization data for NVM, memory, logic, mixed-signal and RF devices, and drive yield improvement through data correlation and root-cause analysis. The role is part of the Test team at GF Dresden and collaborates with Technology Development, Yield Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to support product transfer into production.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Some prior experience in semiconductor test, data analysis, or electrical characterization is preferred (approximately 0β3 years).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain data-analysis tools and reporting templates for wafer test data.
- Analyze electrical characterization data for NVM, memory, logic, mixed-signal and RF products.
- Identify yield limitations and define optimization measures.
- Correlate test, technology and manufacturing data for root-cause analysis.
- Create yield, Pareto, bitmap and customer reports.
- Collaborate with Technology Development, Yield Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Support transfer of new products and technologies into production.
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience or demonstrable interest in semiconductor test, data analysis, or electrical characterization.
- Strong skills in statistical data analysis and processing large datasets.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Perl, or C/C++.
- Analytical and structured working style.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of embedded NVM, memory technologies, or mixed-signal circuits.
- Prior experience with wafer sort data and yield analysis.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communications/Telecommunications Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
