Role Summary
The Digital Design Engineer will design and develop digital integrated circuits, contributing to complete digital design workflows and working on industry-standard interfaces.
Experience Level
Mid-level; 2-4 years of relevant experience in digital design engineering preferred.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform independent RTL design and verification of digital modules.
- Execute complete digital design flow from specification to implementation.
- Conduct synthesis and timing analysis for assigned circuit blocks.
- Design and implement industry-standard interfaces (I2C, SPI, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.
- Document design specifications and test results comprehensively.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Proficient understanding of digital circuits with ability to independently design basic modules.
- Practical experience implementing and verifying RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Competent use of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for design and simulation.
- Ability to perform basic Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Working knowledge of common digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Applied scripting skills for design automation and workflow enhancement.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
