Job Title

Engineer, DEMQRA Compute PQRE

Role Summary

Work on product qualification, outgoing quality and reliability for DRAM compute products through fabrication, assembly, backend and module stages. The role focuses on data-driven root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and improving production quality and yield for high-volume manufacturing (HVM).

Experience Level

Mid-level. Years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include qualification planning, quality monitoring, and driving corrective actions across manufacturing and test flows.

  • Develop and review qualification plans; release qualification for products.
  • Define outgoing quality, reliability sampling, and test plans.
  • Monitor outgoing quality and reliability metrics from FAB, assembly, backend, and module for HVM products.
  • Manage disposition of deviation materials and reduce time-to-disposition.
  • Drive inventory reduction, rescreen, and rework to minimize cost of non-conformance (CoNC).
  • Analyze internal quality metrics and drive customer DPM (defects per million) improvements to best-in-class (BIC) levels.
  • Perform data mining and correlation of inline test data; identify root causes and lead corrective/preventive actions (CA/PA).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and tools; preferred items noted.

  • Must: AI proficiency (Co-pilot, agentic AI, large language models) for data analysis and tooling.
  • Must: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Must: Knowledge of DRAM operation, fabrication process, wafer/component/module test concepts and flows.
  • Must: Proficiency with statistical tools and data analysis (e.g., JMP) and comfort using Unix.
  • Must: Proficient with common office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Preferred: Experience with ATE (automated test equipment) and familiarity with Unix-based workflows.
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of electrical test equipment (TDR, 3D X-Ray, CSAM).
  • Work style: Ability to work independently and in teams; good written and oral communication skills.
  • Desired experience: Semiconductor manufacturing, DRAM fab product QA, or DRAM product engineering.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Relevant technical background in solid-state electronic devices, MOSFETs, and CMOS process-related fields is expected; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
