Role Summary
RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer on an R&D team responsible for designing and developing power amplifier products across multiple applications using Qorvo's GaAs and GaN technologies. The role acts as a technical interface between design and process integration teams and handles designs on non-standard or emerging fabrication processes.
This is an onsite role in Barcelona with an expectation to be onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement power amplifiers using GaAs and GaN technologies, including on non-standard or emerging fab processes.
- Design and optimize RF modules, including substrate-level implementation and integration with other RF components.
- Collaborate with fab and process integration teams to align design decisions with process capabilities for new technologies.
- Perform RF testing, characterization, and analysis in a laboratory environment.
Requirements
Required skills and conditions:
- Background in electromagnetics, RF module design, and integration.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as AWR or ADS.
- Proficiency with EM simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with microwave measurements and RF test equipment.
- Ability to work with evolving, non-standard design flows and new technology introductions alongside cross-functional fab/integration teams.
- Legal authorization to work in Spain is required.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or Visual Basic.
Education Requirements
