Role Summary
Design, analyze, and implement digital circuits and physical layouts for memory products. Collaborate with global design and verification teams to develop silicon-to-systems solutions from technology development through product validation, and to optimize manufacturability and product quality.
Onsite position based at Micron's Minneapolis facility.

Responsibilities
Accountabilities include circuit and physical design, timing and verification, and cross-team collaboration.
- Design and implement digital circuits for memory products.
- Develop silicon-to-systems solutions from technology development to product validation.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to optimize manufacturability and yield.
- Contribute to new product opportunities through circuit design, layout, and optimization.
- Manage the layout process: floor-planning, placement, and routing.
- Perform static timing analysis and physical verification for chip designs.
Requirements
Technical must-haves for physical design and automation; education requirements are listed separately below.
- Experience in chip floor-planning, placement, and routing.
- Knowledge of static timing analysis tools such as Tempus or PrimeTime.
- Familiarity with place-and-route tools (Cadence or Synopsys).
- Experience with physical verification tools (Mentor Calibre or Synopsys IC Validator).
- Proficiency in Tcl and C-shell for flow development and script modification.
- Strong analytical skills for circuit design and validation.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for global teamwork.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
