Role Summary

The Engineer role at Arm involves working on real system-level problems to validate next-generation Arm CPU and System IP used by leading global companies. You will be part of the Bangalore team, building complete reference systems around Arm IPs and using them for stress verification.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with 3-5 years of experience in SoC/IP development or verification.

Responsibilities

As an Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Integrating Arm CPU and system IPs into full reference platforms.
  • Bringing up systems across simulation and emulation.
  • Debugging real system issues spanning hardware and low-level software.
  • Developing system-level tests using C, C++, or Assembly.
  • Collaborating closely with design, architecture, and global teams.
  • Contributing to improving verification flows, tools, and efficiency.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SoC/IP development or verification.
  • Solid understanding of verification fundamentals and debugging.
  • Experience with C/C++ or Assembly-based testing.
  • Exposure to pre-silicon environments (simulation/emulation).
  • Basic understanding of CPU or SoC architecture.

Good to have qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of Arm architecture and AMBA protocols.
  • Experience in embedded software or firmware bring-up.
  • Experience with SoC integration or system-level validation.
  • Scripting skills in Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with Verilog or SystemVerilog.

Education Requirements

BE/BTech/MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
