Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include implementing and running emulation-based verification and building scalable automation for regression and long-term maintainability.
- Design, implement, and execute verification and validation tests on emulation systems.
- Work with design teams to interpret standards and specifications and convert them into effective test cases and scripts.
- Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, procedures, and methodologies.
- Implement automation and manual tests using Python, C++, TCL, and Bash.
- Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks in Python and C++ for efficient regression testing.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve issues discovered on the emulation platform.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and working behaviors.
- Minimum: 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and programming.
- Deep practical knowledge of telecommunications systems and data transmission architectures.
- Strong programming skills: expert in Python and C++; working knowledge of Bash, TCL, Git, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Verilog and SystemVerilog; advanced debugging experience with tools such as Verdi and Visualizer is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to own complex technical areas, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, cross-team collaboration skills, and clear written and verbal English communication.
- May require eligibility to access export-controlled technology; candidates must be able to comply with applicable export control screening.
