Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and designing scalable emulation testbenches and developing robust build flows.
- Improving emulation methodologies, flows, and best practices.
- Utilizing AI-assisted engineering tools for enhancing methodology development and debugging.
- Designing high-quality, synthesizable SystemVerilog models for emulation.
- Defining and executing comprehensive emulation test plans for functional and performance validation.
- Leading complex debugging activities in collaboration with IP designers and verification engineers.
- Supporting the emulation team in executing test plans and deliverables.
- Collaborating with design and verification teams on test planning and execution.
- Verifying features on emulation platforms.
- Validating third-party accelerated verification IPs.
Requirements
Required skills and experience include:
- IP, system, and subsystem design experience.
- Experience with FPGA flows including synthesis and place-and-route.
- Expertise in RTL design, verification, and embedded firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and SystemVerilog.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware and software.
- Hands-on experience using waveform analyzers and debug tools.
- Experience with emulation and prototyping on industry-standard platforms.
- Ability to use AI-assisted tools effectively in engineering work.
Education Requirements
PhD, BSc or MSc in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
