Emulation Design Engineer
Role Summary
The role focuses on driving the development of full-system design verification environments, specifically focusing on high speed interface subsystems in Emulation Platforms. Responsibilities include development, integration, and validation of components and verification flows.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with 5 to 16 years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and deployment of Emulation PHY logic and models.
- Optimize designs for synchronization, area, and performance.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end verification environments.
- Contribute to system prototyping for early validation of designs.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure integration from simulation to emulation.
- Drive innovation in emulatable IP solutions.
Requirements
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5-16 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Strong knowledge of communication standards (PCIe, UCIe, Ethernet, etc.).
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C, Python.
- Hands-on experience with emulation platforms like Palladium, Protium.
- Deep understanding of verification flows and emulation techniques.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
