eFuse Device Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and qualify eFuse devices through experiment design, electrical characterization, data analysis, and validation to drive technology readiness for production applications.
Work cross-functionally with design, process, test, and reliability teams to define test structures, refine methodologies, and resolve device performance or reliability issues.
Experience Level
Mid-level β 0β5 years of experience in semiconductor device engineering, characterization, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing experiments, characterizing devices, analyzing results, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize eFuse device performance and reliability.
- Perform electrical characterization of eFuse structures and interpret measurement results.
- Analyze data to understand device behavior, variability, and failure mechanisms.
- Collaborate with design, process, and reliability teams to define test structures and validation plans.
- Develop and refine test methodologies for eFuse qualification across technologies.
- Drive root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions for device performance or reliability issues.
- Document results and provide clear technical communication to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Perform work in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience required for the role; preferred items listed separately.
- Must-have: Background in semiconductor devices and electrical characterization.
- Must-have: Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, JMP, or equivalent.
- Must-have: Familiarity with Cadence tools for layout and/or simulation.
- Must-have: Strong problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills; fluency in written and verbal English.
- Must-have: Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with semiconductor device reliability and qualification flows.
- Nice-to-have: Experience working in cross-functional teams across design, process, and test; strong planning and organizational skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. The posting also accepts equivalent technical experience in lieu of a listed degree.
