Dry Etch Process Manager

Role Summary

Lead the Dry Etch Process and Equipment Engineering team at the Boise ID1 site to deliver robust etch process development, qualification, and production support. Drive capacity planning and cross-functional coordination to meet wafer output and quality targets.

Responsible for team building, technical escalation, and implementing global best-known methods across manufacturing and engineering groups.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Requires previous leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years direct Dry Etch experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this role include people leadership, process and equipment strategy, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Develop strategic vision and build out the Dry Etch Process team for the ID1 site.
  • Set high-level performance targets and communicate line-of-sight goals to team members.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering on capacity planning to achieve wafer output targets.
  • Support process qualification for new tools and sustain qualified manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and act as key area resource for complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to identify and adopt best-known methods.
  • Present technical topics to large audiences, executives, and technology authorities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and promote a positive work environment.
  • Establish succession plans for key positions within the area of responsibility.

Requirements
