DRAM Product Test Development Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and validate test programs, algorithms, and automation for DRAM products at Taichung Fab 16. Drive new product introduction (NPI), electrical validation of test equipment, and yield/quality analysis to ensure products meet specifications.
Work within the Test Department and cross-functional global teams to debug test issues, improve test coverage and throughput, and reduce cost of test.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
The role focuses on test development, automation, validation, and yield improvement for DRAM products.
- Develop new tests and test algorithms covering software/hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, process flow, and test time.
- Write test programs (primarily Python and C/C++) for automated test equipment and release programs to manufacturing.
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities and perform pre-/post-silicon check out.
- Design and implement test automation solutions; perform electrical validation and qualification of test equipment and tools.
- Independently debug test issues, identify root causes, and provide cross-functional feedback.
- Perform statistical data analysis and program validation to justify program release and ensure quality.
- Work with global teams to evaluate yields and ensure compliance with datasheet specifications.
- Support experiments to improve yield or capacity by resolving test issues impacting sites.
- Provide daily tactical and weekly project updates; lead development efforts where necessary.

- Must-have: Programming experience in Python and C/C++.
- Must-have: Basic Linux/Unix command-line proficiency.

- Must-have: Familiarity with digital systems and digital logic; understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.

- Must-have: Working proficiency in English and ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional team.
